Autograph Information
Bob Cardenas - Retired Air Force General who was perhaps best known as the B-29B Test Pilot that launched Chuck Yeager’s Bell X-1 into the history books. The mother ship flew the X-1 on the world’s first supersonic flight in October of 1947. His flying career was long and distinguished as he flew combat missions in World War II and was shot down and evaded capture. After the war he served as test pilot for a number of airplanes. 8x10 b/w signed portrait, standing in front of his aircraft.
